The draft took place on Feb. 9. Here is a link to the nine teams in the 2022 Triple Crown Fantasy League. I'm keeping the names private, but racing fans would recognize a lot of the players.

Byron King and I are a team. This year in the annual hat shake, we drew next-to-last in the first round, which is tough. The draw is down-and-up-the-ladder, so our overall draft picks were numbers 8 and 10, numbers 26 and 28, etc. Byron and I divided the picks.

Each team got 10 horses and one jockey. Points can be earned in all stakes races (excluding state-bred & restricted races) in the United States for 3yo colts with a minimum purse of $50,000. The only eligible races outside of the U.S. are Japanese and European races that are on the “Road to the Kentucky Derby”, as well as the UAE Derby.

Our 2022 team is: Rattle N Roll, Pappacap, Call Me Midnight, Dash Attack, Grand Sonata, Ho O Roulette, Blackadder, Stellar Tap, Strike Hard, Crown Pride and Tyler Gaffalione.
